Site Analysis in Architecture
21st Sept to 25th Sept 2021
Prior to starting any design, your client will want to know whether construction on the site is possible or not. This can be known by carrying out an extensive Site Analysis [or Contextual Analysis] which will assess whether development is financially feasible or not. It will also help in establishing the parameters to implement the best design that responds to the physical and environmental features of the site.
Site Analysis is one of the most important and effective ways to develop an Architectural Design Concept. Therefore, the more detailed, meaningful and comprehensive it will be, the more useful it would help us to think of the conceptual form, mass, materiality, approach, landscape and much more on to the site.
In this workshop, following topics will be included-
- Introduction and Necessity of Site Analysis
- Evaluating the Site Analysis
- Presenting a Site Analysis
- Site Analysis Case Studies
